If Else
"If Else" is a publication that explores the scientists and artists whose work occupies the space between art and science. The first issue features engineer, Theo Jansen's Strandbeest project, Jonah Lehrer's exploration of Igor Stravinsky's insight into how the human mind reads music, and an examination of how Jean-Luc Godard's experimental film – King Lear, acted as a proto-interactive film. The magazine is designed to take a more in depth narrative approach to the content that is meant to engage both on a visual and intellectual level. Additionally If Else attempts tp look into the historical foundation of many of the ideas in technologically and scientifically driven art and design.
